- What areas do you cover?
- We currently cover Swindon and swindon surrounding areas. If in doubt, please contact us and we can let you know if your address is covered.
- How many dogs will be in the grooming salon?
- Waggs N Barks operates on a one to one grooming experience (*Only dogs from the same household will be permitted in the salon at the same time) so you can rest assured that your dog will get the attention they deserve.
- How many dogs do you walk at a time?
- This depends on a variety of factors, such as walk location and the behaviour of the dogs. Waggs N Barks will only walk a maximum of 5 dogs at any time. If you’d prefer an individual dog walking experience for your dog then please contact us.
- Will my dog be let off the lead?
- Waggs N Barks will initially walk your dog on lead to test your dog’s recall.
We are happy to allow well-behaved dogs to walk off-lead with the owner's consent, owners must sign an Off-Lead Disclaimer before this can take place. All dogs will be kept on leads when testing the dogs recall or in some instances.
- How are dogs transported?
- Dogs are either walked straight from their pick up location, or transported, safely to one of our preferred walking locations.
- Will you walk my dog in all weathers?
- Yes, Regular exercise is vital for your dog’s wellbeing, for this reason Waggs N Barks will walk your dog in all weathers, so you can be confident that your dog won’t miss its walk – rain or shine. * Please note the only exception to this is extreme weather conditions which may present a risk to the safety of your dog or our employees.
- What do you do if my dog gets dirty?
- At the end of each walk we do everything we can to clean your dog's paws. We use a Mud Daddy portable shower to wash your dog's paws before returning them to your home. However we can never guarantee that they will be free of all mud and dirt but we try our best.
- How do I pay?
- Payment is at the end of each week or month unless agreed otherwise by Waggs N Barks. Invoices will be sent directly to you, Waggs N Barks preferred payment is by card or bank transfer. We do also accept cash payments.
- Do you have insurance?
- Waggs N Barks are fully insured by Petplan Sanctuary for Dog Walking, Home Boarding, Pet Grooming, Pet Sitting & Pet Taxi. You may ask to see a copy of the policy certificate at our first consultation.
- Can you collect my dog for its grooming appointment?
- Yes, You can either drop off your dog at our salon at the pre arranged appointment time. If required and subject to availability Waggs N Barks can collect and return your loving dog from your home, work or other location.
